Fall Itinerary

Well, I am heading off again.  I love Victoria during the summer but there is something about being in Europe in the fall for the harvests, festivals, and lovely weather (fingers crossed on that one!) that is irresistible.  So, on September 20th, I will be going back to Europe.  The itinerary this time isn't quite as complicated last spring's - or as lengthy!  I will return before the end of October.  

First up is a weekend in London where I get to share in the marriage celebration of my good friends, John and Pedro.

After that, I am going to Portugal, a country I have never visited.  That should be interesting!  My friend, Nawal, and I will be exploring several regions there before moving on to Spain where we will be until later in October.  I was in a few places in Spain last year when I did the Voyages to Antiquity cruise.  However, traveling independently will be different - and probably a bigger challenge.  We are planning to explore places the cruise didn't go to but will return to two:  Seville and Grenada.  This time, however, I will have more time in both those places. The end of the vacation will see me back in Switzerland spending time with my friends near Zurich and I might even squeeze in a short stop in Alsace.

My plan is to write and post regularly about my adventures.  I hope I will have some interesting, informative and enjoyable stories to share.
